But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.  For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us; Ephesians 2:13-14

It’s been a crazy year, this 2020!

Hey friends!
2020’s been a crazy year, to say the least! At times it’s been super difficult, and the struggle feels like it will never end. I’ve so often lost sight, and at times hope feels so distant.

Let me tell you, though, of the hope that keeps me going. “This is the truth I’m standing on,” as Leanna Crawford says in her song, Truth I’m Standing On. This is what I’m most thankful for this year…

Jesus Christ is still on the throne and in control of it all. He not only knows the future, but He holds the future in His very hands, and His eyes are on each one of us. He is always there for each one of us, waiting to give His life, presence, forgiveness, peace, and rest when we come to Him in faith. He never promised this world would be easy. In fact, He said it would be hard. But He what He does promise is to be our peace amid the struggle if we trust in Him by faith.

Jesus Christ is still offering His confident, sure, and everlasting hope. He is even offering His presence, complete forgiveness for all wrongdoings, and total lasting peace with God. It is a free gift that He purchased for us when we trust in Him by faith who He died the death we all deserve to die on the cross and rose again to life from the dead.

He is now offering you His life and freedom. Amid this struggle, difficulty, and unknown, Jesus wants to give you Himself, and let me tell you this, David was right when he said that in God’s presence is fullness of joy!
